THE ETHICS OF WARFARE IN ISLAM









Allah enjoins justice and doing good to mankind ...
(Al-Qur'an, Surah An-Nahl, verse 90).

[1] Islam made warfare humane and it was undertaken only in vindication of the justice of Allah . It was never rapacious, revengeful and cruel. Muhammad – the Messenger of Allah - himself instructed, trained and
disciplined the army of Allah. It was a humane army but it was invincible, fired with new enthusiasm, imbued with the will to conquer and emboldened by the utter contempt of death inculcated by the Noble
Qur'an.

[2] `Do not use frauds nd deceptions', said the Messenger of Allah to his soldiers. `Do not kill children, do not oppress the peaceful inhabitants of the country conquered. Spare weak women. Have pity on suckling infants and the sick. Do not destroy houses, do not overrun the fields, do not devastate the orchards. Do not cut down date
palms. If u conclude a treaty, keep it. In Christian ountries, do not destroy ther churches nd monasteries'.

[3] Wit such an enlightened, well disciplined and well-trimmed army of Allah(s.w.t) Muhammad laid the foundation of the World Order of Islaam for the world humanity towards `Tawhid', that is, under the sole and universal sovereignty of Allah(s.w.t) one fraternity of mankind, one world kingdom
of Allah(s.w.t)..

Evn undr the worst connditions..one still muyst Fear Allah(s.w.t) All Times..evn then..hard as it can be nd will be.ur angre nd mind nd heart nd all thes emotions running ovr u durn' that time in battlefield.one must remebr Him evn during a wartime wher enemies ar coming at u..we ar still not to transgress.. wen one sites that the enemy has reasn or change of heart.(But how many times hav that evr happnd in history.VER RARE to NONE..but then one must hav change of heart.IF THEY CEASE..SO MUST U...but if not..u ar to continu to defend oneself ur famil nd land..one will not be punished for defending the ones u luv nd ur home...so ther wuld be no consequences upon us for any of that..as it is writtn...
